There are two main types of seagull that, at times, have become a pest problem in the UK; the Herring Gull and the Black-backed Gull. Both of these birds have adapted to living with humans very successfully by swapping cliffs for our buildings to nest and breed.

They spread disease in their droppings, block gutters, and can become aggressive during the breeding season.  Once they have laid eggs in a particular area they will continue to reuse that  for life.

There are two basic ways to solve bird problems, exclusion and deterrents.

Exclusion includes, bird netting, bird spikes and bird wire along with other systems.

Deterrents come in a variety of forms that include gels, low level electric shock, water jets, to lasers and the Agrilaser systems.
